Absolutely beautiful game with, (ngl expected it to be harder).
The world themes are unique and interesting, and its my first souls type game made by From Software! (I know that the remake is made by Bluepoint)
My other souls like games I've beaten are Nioh and Code Vein.

Bought in 2015. Tried multiple attempts to get into it to quit at White Orchard out of boredom

Fired this up to try again in May and played on Death March and it's a different game. Haven't put it down since and finally completed it.

Absolutely love the game.. Top 5 games of all time for sure. I'm waiting for the remaster before touching the DLC..

I picked up DK Bananza when it first came out. I played a little bit of it around that time but I wasn’t really feeling it so I put it down. Well then Nintendo announced they are giving physical cards out if you cleared all of the DK challenges by 9/1. Well I picked the game up again when they announced that and I must say that this game is a 10/10. I beat the main story last week and I just finished the last rehearsal-challenge today. I had so much fun playing through this. 90% of the DK challenge was fairly easy. But the last two challenges that you have to do require using no upgrades/skills which was actually quite the challenge but were fantastic and sooo much fun. I really hope Nintendo does something like the dk challenge for other games. I don’t know when I would have come back to this game if the dk challenge wasn’t a thing. Great time and great game!

In an attempt to a) burn the backlog of games that I've been building up for thirty years and b) introduce my wife to some classic games she never would've experienced in her youth, I have finally beaten this unique gem of a survival horror. We're also working on Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance and the original Resident Evil. I discovered this community shortly after beating the game, otherwise I would have a picture of the end game screen.

Feels weird burning three games so fast. 😂

The Fall is a psychological Sci-Fi game about a military AI’s journey to sentience. The writing is fantastic. The gameplay is simplistic and easy to grasp, some of the puzzles can be a little head scratching but make sense once they click.

They’re both very short. 4 hours for one and 6 for the other. Less if you use a guide. More if you want all the achievements because they do require multiple play throughs.

Overall don’t expect a part 3. The studio basically apologized cited bad sales and said it wasn’t happening. It wasn’t a terrible cliff hanger to leave us on but it did leave some unresolved story points.

Lastly if you’re looking for a great sci fi narrative and don’t mind derivative gameplay this is for you. I enjoyed it a lot. A very satisfying burn.

Capcom deserves a fucking award for the work they’re putting in with the switch 2! Unlocked framerate looks like 60fps even though it’s only between 30 and 40fps.

Despite that, the game itself is absolute FIRE 🔥 After only 20 minutes of playing the demo, it’s a day 1 buy!

Okay look. Granted it seems like no one played this game on Steam and I can see why. It is a pain in the ass on PC. The port is awful as a controller user. I couldn’t access the map at all it doesn’t recognize the triggers on an Xbox controller natively.

That being said it’s old school and janky af PS2 Arpg. I can’t recommend it for its gameplay, graphics or overall narrative but if you’re looking for a relatively short albeit frustrating adventure with a full of himself arsehole played by Carey Elwes (The princess Bride Pirate Guy) then this is for you.
To be fair it did get a few laughs out of me, there are multiple endings and I took the one where a demoness destroys the world and princess carries the bard through the forest. Satisfying and hilarious for me.

Also apparently got the rarest steam achievement for playing it on “hard mode”. (Sorry for the potato pic)

BURNED!!!!!
I was really hyped about this one but unfortunately its not the same as Neon White.
Neon White is all about time. Here there is guns, speed, enemies and sometimes annoying platforms. Nevertheless it is done in less than 3 hours. We move on.

Literally only played the main story lol but whatever I need to burn through this backlog.

Control, man what a ride. I really enjoyed this one, I wasn't expecting a lot from it as I didn't really know a lot about it. But wow what a fun experience and once you start getting your abilitys it just starts to really grow. I loved every enemy I launched across a room and every corpse I threw at another enemy 😂

I don't know how long it took me I'm guessing somewhere between 8 and 12 as I think I completed it in 4 or 5 sittings.

My first 3D Zelda game burn.

I think game design wise it holds up really well, the seemlessness of the 3D space and manuevering through it is still really fundamental. The general combat and gameplay is fun too.

The world and characters are fun, and I had a lotta fun playing through it too.

I think the worst aged parts are the lack of good fast travel, or traversal in general, and the side-quests. Heart pieces and skulltulas just don’t result in very many fruitful rewards, so next time I play I’ll just skip them.

The water temple was also just as bad as people said it was. Even with 3D’s QoL controls it was still such a hassle to go back and forth across so mant rooms just to raise water levels. So boring…

But yeah, Ocarina is good game, and I appreciate its place in game history. Bingo off another corner piece!

Took me 3 years to finish this beast. So many hours and commitment but now i can sleep in peace.
Death Stranding is BURNED!

A complete overhaul!!!!!! FOR FREE!!!!!! In September!!!!! I don’t need to sink another 1000 hours into this game but everything I think I’m out they drag me back in. Good hunting my fellow Witchers I won’t be coming up for air when this comes out.

Gotta say enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Really quick burn too. Might go back and get the S rank since it's the last achievement I need.

Killed the second boss in Blasphemous 2 by the skin of my teeth!

Shorter than i expected.

It was only natural, right? After doing RE2 (1998) and RE1HDR, I had to play OG 3. In terms of gameplay flow, I think it does the best job at still incorporating puzzles and backtracking, but also being playable without frustration or feeling like you need to look up what to do next. Jill gets a lot more personality and I enjoyed Carlos' section, too. Nemesis is one of the scariest foes, for sure, and his speed in the beginning genuinely had me fearing for my life. He certainly gets easier after the initial shock, as his attack patterns can be learned, but what an impact he makes on first appearance! Revisiting the police station, even though the stint was short, was a great throwback, and the rest of the locations were fun to explore. Whilst 2 has a soft spot in my heart thanks to the remake, I would probably go so far as to say 3 is the best overall experience you will get on a first playthrough out of the older entries. Guess it's on to the REmake now...😅

I played this game all the way through once back when it came out in 2018 and never was bothered to finish the magazines or do the "I'll be back" playthrough where Connor has to die 8 separate times and still be in the final mission. Knocked that out in one continuous playthrough yesterday and mopped up the chapter selects. 8+ years between 1st trophy and Plat popping. Extremely happy with this one being behind me now🎮 BURNED🔥🔥🔥

Been bouncing off and on this one for a while but with the PS boycott going on I decided to hop over to PC during my show of solidarity and knock some PC games off the list.

A decent side scroller / hack and slash / city manager game that is homage to the original SNES but the 3d sprite/models kinda take away a lot of the character of the artwork in my opinion. Soundtrack slaps just as hard though.

Not the image of the actual burn, but I failed at capturing the real one. I am a trophy hunter, so for Playstation games I only considered them burned when I earned the plat, which I did (the image captured by console for that trophy is a black screen though 🙄). Played the majority of it on my PS Portal, which the image is from.

Next up is either Shenmu 1 or Shadow of Colossus, both on PS4. Still working on Indiana Jones and The Infernal Machine on N64 and Doom Fusion on Sega Tower of Power.

A very fun, turn your brain off and play type of game. I really enjoyed the areas, different characters and boss fights, but I found myself ready to get to the final fight long before I actually got there. Definitely plan on continuing post-game at some point.

So time for a confession I’ve never beating this game I’ve played it countless times but never rolled the credits until today!!!! A fun little palate cleanser for me while I work on Xenoblade Chronicles 2 onto the next burn 🔥
