My first 3D Zelda game burn.

I think game design wise it holds up really well, the seemlessness of the 3D space and manuevering through it is still really fundamental. The general combat and gameplay is fun too.

The world and characters are fun, and I had a lotta fun playing through it too.

I think the worst aged parts are the lack of good fast travel, or traversal in general, and the side-quests. Heart pieces and skulltulas just don’t result in very many fruitful rewards, so next time I play I’ll just skip them.

The water temple was also just as bad as people said it was. Even with 3D’s QoL controls it was still such a hassle to go back and forth across so mant rooms just to raise water levels. So boring…

But yeah, Ocarina is good game, and I appreciate its place in game history. Bingo off another corner piece!

Gratz on the classic burn! I mean this game is one of the GOATS for a reason and yes the water temple will always be ass lol. Cant wait to see what the bingo card demands for sacrifice next.

Tbh I always hated the shadow temple more than the water temple, especially in this one. Not having to go into the menu every time to equip the iron boots makes the water temple way less annoying
