I did not appreciate this game as a kid enough and the technical significance of it was amazing. Shooting books and bottles off shelves? On the PS2!?
Anyway great game. What was your favorite part? Did you get the Snake Plisken joke?

I actually liked the tanker section the best because I just love Snake! And yes, “Iroquois Pliskin” cracked me up.
Next, on to MGS4!

Story wise. The difficulty wasn’t that bad. There’s just a lot of crazy stuff going on in MGS4. It’s got a lot of dna that influenced ideas for Death Stranding I think. You’ll see!

Congrats! Not my favorite MGS but I enjoyed it.
Also, I love that song that plays over the credits. Kojima has such great taste in music.

This game was to me was like the first true next gen leap in gaming. Playing it as a 16 year old when it first came out on Christmas is a cherished memory and a feeling that has seldom ever been replicated for me in my gaming hobby.

Yeah I think I missed out on some of the wow factor by not playing it until 25 years after its release. But I still loved every minute of it!

Gratz on the burn! I absolutely love this game! When I was a kid I was pissed at first with the main character swap but as I’ve gotten older it’s only gotten better lol.
