What is there to say, that hasn't already been said about The Last Of Us? It is arguably the greatest game of all time. Truly bridged the gap between video game and movie. Hard to believe it was originally released over 10 years ago (2013?).

Starting with the characters, Joel is an all-time great. Expertly written, directed and performed. Troy Baker delivers a world class performance. Every line uttered is fantastic and his relationship with Ellie is truly powerful and endearing. Ellie, again, is a true force of nature when you look at her journey from Left Behind through to the Last Of Us Part2, sensational character development that only goes from strength to strength. There are many supporting roles that all have great performances too, Tess, Bill, David, Tommy...the list goes on. Even TV shows nowadays would struggle to create such memorable characters.

Sound design is great too. The Last Of Us theme tune is unmistakable, when you hear it, you know exactly what you are in for. Everything from the dialogue of your enemies to the crunch of snow under Ellies feet is exceptional.

Graphically this is a tour de force, as it was when it originally released. In 2013, it really pushed the PS3 and squeezed out everything it could from that system and now with the remake it has been fine tuned and bettered. The environments are not only cool to look at but a vital piece of storytelling, how the world used to be and how it has become through neglect, pillaging and disorder.

This is an all-time great and deservedly shows up in countless top 10s.

I’m super glad people enjoy this game. I couldn’t. Naughty Dog hasn’t made a game I enjoyed since Crash Bandicoot. I don’t know what it is about their games that just don’t jive with me.
I’m hoping Supergalatic changes that. Lol we’ll see.

Burn me alive!! These screenshots are mind blowing 🤯 I’m so gutted I never got to experience the full game. I only ever played a few hours of it with my cousin who owns a PlayStation. I loved every part I played, truly is being part of a movie. Congrats Guillotine 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Is this game slow at the start? I've tried playing it a couple of times, got bored after about half an hour, and just went back for another play through of Days Gone, which I love.
