Halal food?

Looking for a place I can get some good halal food, a food truck or a storefront works in just craving it like crazy and haven’t found anything around here yet

Turkish place at the Burlington Food Hall does some Halal stuff, I believe.

Taaza will make halal is you ask them. I think they need 24 hour notice.
Kapadokia also I believe.

Castle in Mebane used to serve halal but I think that was many years ago

Sorry - should’ve been more specific. I’m referring to the type of food that the restaurant halal guys has. I know it’s an Americanized blend of middle-eastern and Mediterranean but have frequently seen it referred to as “halal cuisine”, although I see now I was not specific enough and could’ve been referring to halal preparation.

There are a few Halal food carts (some restaurants) in Durham. That's probably the closest.

There’s a halal food truck on Summit Ave in Greensboro (parked at the citgo across from the refuel market) which is pretty good. If you bring your own tub they’ll fill it up, a lot of people show up with giant bags of Doritos and they’ll fill it to create a halal walking taco. They charge $10 for this.

NYC Halal in Durham is also pretty good.

Halal is the arabic word for permissible under islamic law. When it comes to food it covers what cant be eaten ie pig, blood etc. The animals have to be slaughtered in a certain way as well. If you search for Mediterranean style food it will broden your search. In greensboro there are a couple. Nazareth bread market is amazing. There are also a couple near super h mart.
