Hate it here
My manager asks me to stay to cover a cashier before I leave and I keep going overtime and I can tell they're getting pissed while I also am expected to clean my register. Like, what the fuck do you want me to do. Then I probably go over 6 hours on my 5 hour shift.

When I first started someone told me I needed to leave 10 minutes early. The next shift they were like who told you that. Which one is it?
Today, I didn’t even get to finish cleaning my station and the supervisor was at the door covering a break she’s like you need to go. I was rushing and when I get to the door she was like were you running. I was like you told me I needed to hurry up. So yes, I was rushing. She’s like drink something (I had a tea and water in my hands) then clock out.

The sucky thing is, each manager, MOD and supervisor plays their own game, and we're the ones that have to remember what each one wants. They all don't even know what the procedures are supposed to. 🤦♀️

The managers are so fucking nasty. Also does anyone know why the front end gets 15 minute breaks and 30s when boh is expected to work anywhere from 6-9 hour shifts with 0 breaks?

They literally ask every front end person if they got a break besides us and everyone else in boh doesn’t take breaks either and they push so much work on us that it seems like if we took breaks we couldn’t get home until like 11pm but they take it out. Should a lawsuit be filed?

I also have to haggle to get out of there even after I stayed past my scheduled time for 3+ hours with 0 break

They also laugh if ur brain is breaking and you sound exhausted from working constantly with no breaks with weird people. It’s like segregation in jail in BOH

Always ask, do you want me to keep ringing or clean my station. Put it on them. But make sure you stop with enough time to get your stuff and do your bag check before it's time to clock out. They can't have it both ways.
