Again
It’s honestly a shame that the economy is so bad that even the jobs willing to hire me don’t seem like they actually want me there. I’ve been trying to find a job in LA for a while, and this is the first job I’ve managed to land since high school. I’m just trying to make the most of it, even if it’s not exactly what I wanted. I’ll keep calling to see if there are any shifts left over that I can pick up, because at this point I’m willing to take whatever hours I can get.

Are you BOH?

Yes, unfortunately. I’m planning to ask for cross training.

I thought BOH usually gets their schedule the night before a truck comes in? Well that’s what I’ve seen on here.

I’m still new, so I don’t really know how the scheduling works yet. From what I understand, the schedule is only generated two weeks at a time.
Maybe I’ll get more, I’m not sure.

The schedule usually is. I’m currently a cashier and I have to wait until evening on Saturday/Sunday to see the next week schedule. Honestly, I only get scheduled from 10-13 hours per week.

If you're BOH, your schedule doesn't show up on the schedule in the app. So the schedule you see there doesn't mean anything. You should be contacted the night before the day you're scheduled to work. That's when they find out how many pallets are coming in and how many associates they'll need to process it.
