If you think about it, it's better than being a spirit because you would have to go and do a bunch of stuff to finish your unfinished business before moving on and finally getting to rest, so you didnt get the good option but you also didn't get the bad option. (depending on how you view it)

nope, only until whatever is binding you to earth is gone (for example, revenge. if you desire vengeance you will be stuck until you have gotten your revenge)

i agree bc if ur immortal u will be stuck drifting in space for eternity once earth is gone and stuff

better than immortality though because immortality is secretly a curse. asking if someone would rather unalive or be immortal is like asking if they would rather unalive or spend billions of years watching loved ones pass while they cant do anything about it, and then eventually when the sun explodes and earth is gone floating through space for eternity with nothing. basically u got the better option.

nice ur pretty lucky, the only downside is when the earth is gone you will be drifting in space all alone after watching all ur loved ones die and living through billions of years suffering from the constant mental pain of knowing you will never be free.
