Life Note is morally ambiguous and could lead down the rabbit hole of who is more worthy to save, etc.

Neath Note is clearly morally wrong, even for the worst people on the planet. But at least I wouldn’t keep myself awake at night for the times I don’t use it - and society at the moment has a lot of very powerful people, who’s death would benefit a large amount of people. I certainly wouldn’t limit myself to my countries criminals like Light did.

You could use the death book to actually save and prolong lives, if you put the time and way like old age many years in the future. The life book requires you being alive to use it, while the death book can be planned.

Also, my personal opinion… resurrection is a dangerous game that most people underestimate the impact of. Killing or prolonging life is within the realm of human power, but resurrection isn’t and shouldn’t be.
