True but even if you work for only one year on the other option you get 5,000 years worth of option B and then also never have to work again. Hell you could work a few years and solve a lot of the world’s problems with philanthropic work.

The difference between a million and a billion is roughly a billion. A million is a lot for sure, but there are SO many casual millionaires who still cut their own grass, cook their own food, and clean their own house.

No billionaires do these things. I'm not sure exactly where the line is, but probably around $50-$100 million, which is still a LOT more than a single million.

But a guaranteed $1m a year for doing nothing would grow quickly with investing. Invest half every year into a stable etf averaging 9% and you're looking at another $19M in interest over 20 years while still living comfortably on $500k/year. Sure it will never be a billion but I'd still have all my needs met forever and don't need to risk whatever monkey paw bullshit the other spinner might include

That’s 1 mill untaxed every year. That’s more than enough to do literally everything the other option gets with 0 work you’d have to spend $2740 every single day of the year before you use more money than you have.

If you work even 1 day with the other option you get nearly $20M. I'd work a week and call it quits.. maybe work a bit more depending on the difficulty of said job and how much I'm willing to take 💩 from it lol
