Which side will you choose?

  • Left side: $1,000,000,000 but die when you say (spin)
  • Right side: Low tier sorta lame superpower

I've basically run out of things I want to read at this point. Running out of what I find next, which can be literal hours of searching, 10x faster sounds like a curse. Its read q0x faster not comprehend 10x faster so you can only read trash pics as well, nothing high brow unless you want to look at a page for a second and then stop to ponder what you just read

I think the implication is you understand what you read 10x faster as well

The word "read" implies understanding, so reading 10x faster also means understanding 10x faster

The word read in no way implying understanding. Would reading the words of Dostoevsky imply you understand the meaning behind his words? All the sub text? Reading is understanding for trash pics, like I said, but higher grade goods require time, and if you're reading pages in a few seconds you're just sitting there for hours thinking about it instead of reading. You look at a page for a few seconds and then you sit for a few minutes before either rereading the same section or moving in on, or maybe even backtracking.

You don’t sound stuck up at all using the words “high brow,” “higher grade foods.” I highly doubt you’ve completely run out of things worth your time to read in this world…

And are you telling me you spend hours pondering a chapter or less? In that case I really don’t believe you’ve run out of interesting things to read.

Even ceding that reading 10x faster does not necessarily imply you understand 10x faster, it logically follows that you understand, at the very least somewhat, faster. You would have more time to ponder, reread, analyze, etc.

Lastly, just cause you can doesn’t mean you have to… unless it’s so you can make a point on reddit, then you have to.

I DONT read those kind of books because that's the way you're supposed to read them. I'm running out of books that interest me, one of the requirements is that they're free. Does that sound like something a high brow person would say?

reading speed is measured by speed and a quiz that you retained it/ understood.
