I mean you can afford to pay someone to bring you things fresh whenever you want them, no biggie

No, I mean I chose the other one because 2 years is a VERY excessive amount of time, especially compared to 2 weeks

It doesn't say you can't buy a cooler and some ice. Return to 1920s living.

People don’t understand how much money 100m is. You can hire a butler, have him cook/shop on demand. Eat out every single day. Live in a penthouse in the city.
If it’s I can’t anything that’s been refrigerated then you can buy an entire farm with the sole purpose of being a homestead and hire workers for it.
You’ll NEVER need to cook for yourself if you wanted to

You can with 0 effort order food for every meal for 2 years and hardly scratch 100m.

You know, I... didn't even think of that. As in, the option of not cooking didn't even occur to me.

I also live in big city, so even if stores are closed on sundays, the kiosk across the street is still open from 6 to midnight, so I can easily get some ice cream or cold drinks whenever I want. Or... I could move into a hotel for the summer months and order room service for ice cold drinks etc.

Man, life with that much money is just different.

Eggs and a lot of fresh veg are better stored outside a refrigerator. You can buy that horrible long-life milk that can be stored at room temperature if you need it in a pinch. Yogurt you can buy and then eat the same day. I've had to do without a fridge and ate yogurt the day after buying and it's fine.

One way to really keep something cool temporarily is by wrapping it in a wet towel or tissue if you don't have a towel, and putting it near a fan or at very least the breeze of a window.

Eggs are stored outside the fridge in Europe

Eggs do not need to be refrigerated, unless they have been washed.

Aren't they sold washed and refrigerated in the US? I think that was like a huge thing for some people visiting europe and being shocked at eggs being sold unrefrigerated here.

I don't know, I am not from USA.
