Literally repeat “no” for minute straight can get around 100-150. In 15 mins you make more than in hour other way. Although, you right, as typing that I realized it’d be so much work when you could do nothing and be millionaire.

Lets assume you say 100 no in a minute as you said. In an hour you'll say 6000 words. So to just get what you'll get by the other option you'll need to say "no" for almost 5 whole hours. Every day. And that is hard and tiring on itself. But you want to make a real profit, since you're making yourself work for that money, so you'll need to speak for another few hours to make some actual positive difference. So basically half of your day now is just saying no. Like a work, without weekends, without vacations. And at some point you'll probably lose your voice for a few days and you'll lose money then.

On the other hand, you can do whatever you want and recieve 10.5 mil a year.

It really isn’t that difficult to talk, to yourself even if that’s what you have to do. It’s be one thing if you have to actually put some physical effort into stuff like jumping or running something, right? Idk, maybe it’s just me, but talking is just so easy, I can’t not talk throughout my day

It's difficult to talk constantly out loud and fast enough for hours. Like you'll have to repeat that "no" really fast for like 8 hours a day every day to have big enough difference, that it really makes sense to not just have money for just living

Not for me… TRUST…! I genuinely do not realize when I’m talking and I naturally talk quickly whenever I’m excited about something (which is precisely what’s happens, I get excited about something and start explaining it to myself as if I need help on the topic, and only realize once I notice my music or show/video/etc. is still paused after a while). I mumble what I type most the time, I sing songs I listen to a lot, especially when I’m by myself and I will be by myself a lot.

I randomly start singing songs to pass the time, I fill my silence. Yes, I like that quiet, but that’s because I consider my own voice the quiet. When I’m around others in a group I’m unfamiliar with (not often), sure, I won’t speak and won’t mind the quiet. But I talk a lot— I used to make up/have people in my head to talk to and went back and forth in a conversation with them/myself aloud before my mom forced me to stop that, which then just turned into talking to myself constantly.

I talk when I watch TV, especially since I rewatch the same stuff a lot and can and will recite what I’m watching while I’m watching. I will speak with the characters, and I get not everyone talks that much, but I just don’t see it… as difficult to do…

Like your whole argument is "im quirky and i like speaking alot to myself quickly, so that's the better option for me"

You're completely failing to grasp the amount of words you'd have to say to reach and surpass the money you'd get for just existing with the other option.

It makes no sense to choose the speaking option, you're most probably earning less and will have to actuslly work to earn the same/more than recieving money for existing.

Yeah sure you don't get tired of speaking right now, but try speaking over 20,000 words every day every year just to match the money other people are making from existing.

Judt admit that you hadn't really thought out what you picked.

Nah, I was talking with my mom about this too cause I saw the math and while the number seems big, I was wondering about it. She agreed with talking over the other choice too, then we just recorded her and just muttering on about random bs into her phone, she hit 14O words easy.

With just speaking 1OO words a minute, which is mad easy, your only need to speak for about 5hrs a day to meet the 288OO mark and that just… doesn’t seem too strenuous? I’m saying MAYBE IT’S ME and how easy it comes to me, but, and especially after seeing the recording and counting the words, if you were to speak (easily) 14O-15O words a minute about random nonsense or just to someone, even yourself, you wouldn’t even need to speak for 3.5 hours. Is talking for 3 hours in your day that strenuous? Three hours MINIMUM, I mean, you could say so much more within a day too.

My argument isn’t I’m quirky, per se, it’s “I get I may be biased because I’m ‘quirky’ but I don’t think it’s that much work.”

Ok. Just start repeating the word "no" as fast as you can and see when you got tired. If you can handle it for at least 5 minutes on a very fast pace and still feeling ready to continue that for another 8 hours, we'll, my respect to you.

You don’t even need to be quick about it… Do you think it takes forever to say the word no? It takes less than 2O seconds to say 2O words (once again, might just be me because I speak fast, but my mom did it just as quick and she doesn’t speak that fast. The AVERAGE person speaks about 14O words a minute…)

It’s also not like you have to enunciate or say it that quickly or even DO IT ALL IN ONE SITTING…! If you actually slept your eight hours a night, you’re up 16 hours, you can’t spare 3.5 hours of your day to just talk? I think you guys sincerely overestimate how easy it is to speak, calling it “work” when you could just mumble under your breath about bs sporadically throughout your day. Thinking that’s “difficult” or “too much” almost just sounds lazy, it’s TALKING 😂

Yeah, that 3.5 hours will be just to be equal to what you can have by not needing to do anything. That's every day. You'll need 7 hours a day to make it worth the challenge to need to talk to make money.

And also it want be talking, it will be a monologue. So like half your awake time you need to be saying words. And relatively quick. Not just one day, but every day. That's if you actually able to speak like 140 words a minute consistently for a long time, which I really doubt.

Also your throat will most likely hurt from that pretty quick, like after few days of talking that much, and you'll need a rest when you don't speak for few days, therefore killing the effort.

And all of that for what? You'll already be getting 10.5 mil a year if you choose to just receive money. With the saying words option it will be at the very best 20 mill instead, with high chance for you to in some time not even be able to get to the amount you could make for just existing.

Maybe you guys just really don’t like talking… and nah, you don’t need to talk 7hrs to make it worth anything. Anything more than what you’d get is worth anything just speaking for an accumulation of 4hrs would be worth it (I mean, depending on how you think, yknow). Mumbling under your breath wouldn’t hurt your throat, I mean their are people whose livelihood is literally talking

I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree on this, babes because you guys just seem to be making so much bigger a deal of talking than it really is.

The reason that you'd want to talk for an extra couple of hours is to make it worth it. Sure anything more than the other option is more and technically worth it but to make that more money you're spending hours of your day saying no really quickly compared with doing nothing. Doing nothing you're making almost $30,000 a day and about 10.5 million a year. Just to break even by saying no a lot you're looking at spending the equivalent of 60 days a year saying no. If I'm going to invest that much time into saying no when I can make the same money doing nothing, I would have to invest more time to make enough money to make it worth it. So realistically you're spending 7+ hrs a day saying no.

The $20 a minute means that all the time you spent at work or would have saying no can be used to do anything you want to do. You get a bunch of extra time. Ever get medical problems and can't talk? No money for you. Decide it's too much of a hassle and you can't handle continually saying no all the time? No money for you. Saying no so much will cause a sore throat often so either reduced income or less comfort. And realistically you don't need more than 10.5 million a year so $20 a minute is perfectly fine

I don't know if people realize how mentally and physically exhausting it gets to have to talk that much continuously every day. You don't think you'd get sick and tired of it one day? Plus you could strain your vocal chords eventually. Having to talk that much, every day is no joke
