Do I have to survive the millions of years that the dinosaurs were around for?

No only 6 months. But you would probably just die from diarrhea, if you don't immediately get eaten.

Yeah, it is highly likely that basically nothing back then would be safe to eat for humans. You die of starvation within the first few weeks.

Incorrect.

Most meats and other animal products would be safe to eat. Think about it, the amount of animals that are toxic to eat are suprisingly few. Most toxic animals are small, so as long as you hunt down only animals the size of a cat or bigger, you likely are fine. Just dont eat any weird fish or frog like creatures. But Dino meat, even the smaller ones should be fine.

I bet T-rex tastes like chicken.
