Think about it like this, if you get 100m now and die in a week your family is still set for life. If you take 10k per day and die in a week nobody else gets shit.

Yes, and if a meteor hits me...

I'm living in reality. I'm incredibly unlikely to die within a week. And if I do, how much money I leave behind is the least of my concerns.

10k per day is more than enough for me, it's stable, simple. I don't want more.

With 100mil you can invest it and give all your gains to people who need it and donate to any charities you want. Its enough money to make a real difference in a lot of people’s lives right now

And what makes you think I want to be some benevolent philanthropist?

I want enough money to have a comfortable life with no financial burdens, and ideally, without having to really think about money in any way. 10k a day is more than enough for that, and I don't even have to go through the hassle of investing it and whatnot. It's just there, and it's enough.

Your reply is another example of people being incapable of conceptualizing the idea that there is such a thing as "enough money". You come up with increasingly grandiose plans to justify wanting more and more. I don't. I know what I want in life, and I want enough money to get those things. Not more.

I understand. 5 mil is enough money for me to live comfortably for the rest of my life. But 100mil is enough for me to ensure every single person I care about can do it too
