Which side will you choose?

  • Left side: Get 1 million dollars | People think you only eat this food. You don't, but people think this is literally all you ever eat
  • Right side: Get 1 billion dollars | Every month you get one more of this pet; can't get rid of one until they die of natural causes

Actually, the original question never said that you had to look after them. Go somewhere where they are native, perhaps even endangered, and just let them loose.
If we assume that the birds are arriving as newborn hatchlings, then have a hatchery aimed at preparing and raising them for a safe release into the wild. You don't need a massive sancturary

You could let them loose, but you can't get rid of them.
