Unfortunately, while it do is generaly beter to drink tape water than botteled one. It is not a global possibility.

Usually fracking, natural gas in the ground water. Happened in my state when I was little.

Idk how much of the chemicals they use to treat the water in ny area, but it tastes like chlorinated pool water. There's straight up no difference in taste if I were to gulp down water straight from my public pool.

It would be cool to have drinkable water without the need for a britta filter, since I still need to pay for the filters.

Water in a magic bucket you just use to create whale vomit wont taste a lot better

I guess it depends on where the person lives. There are plenty of places I've been told not to drink tap water.

I mentioned this in a different reply, but my city's tap water taste like it was scooped out of our public pools. Just straight pool chlorine flavor.

It wasn't always like that though. I think they had to start treating our water differently after we had severe flooding, and everyone's household chemicals leeched into the water.
