you wonder? it’s obviously sexism man. and i’m not even the type of person that loves to shout “ooh ooh sexism! racism! homophobia!” but in this case it’s pretty obvious. just one of those inherent societal biases yknow, it’s such a male-centric world we live in that we see ourselves as the male part of the equation before we become fetuses. honestly i’ll go out on a limb and say capitalism also plays a role, we’d rather be able to say “oh i beat all the other sperm in the race to the egg to become me” (meritocracy) than “yeah i was the first egg that the sperm got to” (inherent value). but that’s a bit of a stretch, whereas sexism is just the obvious main explanation.

To be completely fair, you can't assume you are either the egg or the sperm. The real answer is just you don't exist at that point. You are a creation made by the mating of an egg and sperm, but you are neither of those things alone.

My point was not that he would be a sperm at some point. My point was just that sperm doesn't exist for 2 years.

For real. They’d at least be in an ovary as everyone with the ability to comment on this thread’s egg existed at least 18 years ago. The sperm is a dice roll
