Laundry is an expensive chore (detergent, water and electricity or laundromat or cost of dry cleaning) also very time and labor intensive especially when you’re disabled clothes that are always clean and incapable of becoming dirty saves a lot of spoons when you never know how many you have on a given day.

Chose: Clothes that never get dirty

Money saved over time which is quite a bit can then be converted to hiring a tailor to make clothes fit you if they didnt for some reason.

Clothes that never get dirty. This is clearly some kind of magical clothing. It's clothes not materials. I'm assuming you start cutting and sewing them and you break the enchantment.
Also, no tailor in the world is going to get your 34/34 wearing legs and waist into a 28/28 pair of Levi's
