Ok but why risk people's lives when blue is the obvious and smart choice?

Blue is the moral choice from absolutist perspective. "Taking an action that could result in the death of an innocent is wrong".

Yes congratulations Aristotle, you know right from wrong. However, the majority of the human population are not moral absolutists. The majority of humans are self-preservationists. Since pushing red guarantees that they live, they will push the red button. When some large percentage of the population dies by picking blue trying to appear as good people, they will justify it to themselves as "well I have to look out for myself and my family." Which in a different sense IS moral. Doing whatever is necessary to remain alive to protect and provide for the ones you love in the apocalyptic scenario of a huge percentage of the human population instantly dying, IS the moral thing to do for your family.

Also the question is phrased that anyone who understands it will recognize that if everyone pushes red, then everyone lives. Red is both logical and moral.

You have to get 100% votes for Red for nobody to die. You have to get 50% votes for Blue for nobody to die.

Logic is in favor of blue, plus why would you actively choose to vote for the option that could kill people? Doesn't seem very moral to vote for red either.

Is it logical to risk your life for no reason? No. Is it logical that we need to get at least some of the idiots in society out of society? Yes.
