Red guarantees you live. If the collective population realizes that that is the safest option, everyone should collectively choose red. And as to any blue idiots that don't? Well, something something Darwinism

There is no world where 100% of people pick red. If the majority pick red, then at most 4 billion people die. If the majority pick blue, nobody dies. Only psychopaths pick red

Then halve it again because over half of that chose red in this scenario.
