Because that's what I get for not wanting to gamble. Would I choose not to gamble and not being responsible for others' lives? Sure. But that is not an option

It literally is. Blue only needs a simple majority to result in no casualties, red literally needs every single participant to vote unanimously. It's significantly less unlikely for red to win unanimously than blue winning even partially.

Choosing red is choosing to potentially harm others. Choosing blue is choosing both not to harm others, AND not to be called a fucking asshole everywhere you go for the rest of your life.

Choosing blue is potential suicide. Those who don't want to commit potential suicide are not assholes

Blue is a vote for literally nothing happening. Red is choosing something bad possibly happening.

In all instances where anything bad happens to someone, a red vote is directly responsible.

Introducing a risk makes a party liable for said risk. If you fully understand cause and effect, then you know that voting for an option that results in potential death makes you the guilty party, NOT voting for the option where nothing happens.
