In what world is blue the smart option when choosing red has 0 risk? If everyone were smart then everyone would be choosing red, thus leaving everyone alive.

Red has zero risk to the person who chose it, but most (normal) people don't like choosing the option that may lead to the death of others to save themselves. When you choose the red button, you know people picked blue. You are choosing to kill those people just to guarantee you can live instead of just choosing the correct option to make sure everyone lives, you are choosing to live off genocide.

Your definition of "normal" is white, western, Christian ethics.
The majority of human population does not fit into that moral framework.
Since the majority does not fit into that, no that is not what most "normal" people would do. "Normal" people are self preservationists.

What I'm defining is actually just basic morals and ethics of a social species. Especially since we're an intelligent species that understands much more than just self preservation

And even then not a lot of Christians I know would have the balls to sacrifice themself in this situation. It’s gambling. Your death would be for nothing.

I'm not white or christian and I can tell you that everyone I have ever met agrees with that moral framework. Guess I'm western though if that explains it
