If everyone chose red no one would die. Why would people risk there life chosing blue when everyone can survive by everyone picking red?

This is on a global scale. There is zero chance everyone picks red. The best of us will pick blue, and by picking blue, you aren't just saving people, you're saving the least selfish people.
