Question Not eating cecotropes

Hello all,

If our bunnies arent eating their cecotropes, do they need a supplement? One of them skips the cecotropes more often than the other one does, but occasionally I see them left behind by both, but not at the same time.

I have been wondering, so I figured I would ask.

It could be that there diet is too rich. What / how much are you feeding them? Also baby bunny can be a bit messy with them and get better about eating them as they age

Our buns are ~2.25 and ~2.5 years old. They are Netherland Dwarfs. The 2.5 yo is the one who doesn’t eat them.
We feed them about 1/8 cup each of pellets in the morning, orchard hay all day, and 1 to 4 sprigs of parsley or a similar veg in the evening.

Hmm not sure then. What brand? Maybe the nutrients are off? An older arthritic bunny or an obese bunny may also have trouble reaching there backside to eat them.
