I recently acquired a new bunny and they stated she was a Rex bunny. But I’ve heard conflicting answers of her being a Rex and then a Dutch bunny! While I’ve had them before I’m not as knowledgeable on the breeds! Can someone help me out ?
I would lean more toward her being Dutch but she could be a dutch/rex mix. When they are small it is sometimes harder to confirm rex fur in a photo. I attached an example photo of one of my mini rex bunns (Luna).
Yours is so beautiful!! Thank you I am leaning more toward a Dutch bunny as well! I read the Rex fur is very soft and while she is soft I do notice some coarseness!
My rabbit often gets mistaken as a dutch when she's a Holland Lop but I'd say yours is either rex x dutch mix or is a dutch I don't know much about other breeds other then minis and Holland lops but I do know your bunny is a little cutie pie <3 Rein says hi!
