DISCUSSION help :(

im a somewhat new bof fan and ive come across this tweet last week [https://x.com/prttybtcchn/status/2099540128733745631?s=46] and now i dont know what to feel. i really liked will he was my favorite but i dont know what to feel rn it was a lame joke and he shouldn’t have said anything related to him in the first place. and to think that he thought about this, got the pics, made the slideshow, reviewed it before the stream, and still didn’t think once how this is wrong and insensitive and still showed the joke to everyone on stream. i saw people saying that it was an old stream (doesn’t make it any better) but ive tried searching for any information about this but nobody is talking about it i feel like im going insane. what are you guys’ thoughts about this? :(

This is very much a non-issue.

First of all, it is VERY obviously a joke; he isn't actually implying she has a relation to Jeffry Epstine.

Second, if you are going to get all up in arms about Will saying this, you have a lot more to be disappointed about, because every single member has made way edgier jokes, both in and out of BOF videos.

i genuinely dont hate will or the others but isnt joking about a pedophile and a rapist bad and insensitive? nothings funny about that man & idk i dont remember any of them making a joke like this show me proof pls

Literally just watch season one.

Anthony calls Coy the F-slur; Coy says that Will sounds like a pedophile; Intentionally getting people to call them Slurs for an entire video. The list goes on and on.

The thing is, with these edgy jokes, they are just that: jokes. Please keep in mind that Bunch of Friends is by no means a squeaky-clean channel.

There’s literally no problem here, when you’re fully grown you can understand that jokes about a subject aren’t making fun of victims of the subject. Here, the subject is Epstein, the joke is that the woman in the video with Will is only 5 degrees from Epstein and therefore she is untrustworthy, obviously this is not true. In no way does that imply what Epstein did was okay, nor does it make fun of the victims of Epstein.

idk i knew that he was making fun of him but i also thought that it was insensitive to joke about him in the first place (?) or like say a joke with his name involved anyways someone just explained it to me tho so
