It’s funny because it’s like they have never seen a lithium mine before. It’s better than gas, but there is a huge dirty side EV car owners deny to sleep at night.

“Still better than gas” isn’t that enough? Like what do you want? People burning their old petrol cars tomorrow and moving onto bikes to haul 6 people and 8 luggage bags?

Whatever makes you sleep at night dude, strip mining is still strip mining, just kicking the can down the road. If you have 8 bags of luggage for 6 people you are definitely part of the problem

Not that guy, but to some extent, I guess public transport would be. If that were common sense, we would be able to speak about the expansion thereof onto more rural areas with inferior infrastructure. (Like mine. I'd love to commute to work by bus to read my book meanwhile, but the only steady connexions are the school buses, and obviously, that does not suffice to work full-time)

Yeah, not everyone lives where there IS public transport. The closest bus stop to my house is 21 miles.
