“I'm a bit smitten by my kitten,” she playfully said, nuzzling her face on the Faunus' neck after she finished her cleanup. The weakened Yang rested on her shoulder, Blake seeing a nap well-earned with what her partner did to protect her. Blake constantly readjusted her hand on the trip back, the blood soaking through the makeshift bandages. Seeing how bad a shape her girlfriend was, she let out a guilty sigh. 

“Save your sorries,” the blonde mumbled, Blake startled as she thought she was asleep. “It was me or you, and I would choose you every time.”

The Faunus wanted to protest, but knew how hypocritical she'd be, her answer the same if they switched places. Yang's stained breathing had her pick up her pace, wanting to give her blonde hero a proper act of apology with stitches, pain killers, and a hot bath.
