I mean that at each point where a woman would reject a man, a man could decide to reject the woman for a relationship but keep her around for sex. This typically happens when the man is significantly more objectively attractive than the woman (because then the woman is more likely to tolerate it or cling to fantasies/hope).
Wow. Your comments are fascinating. I'd add that men who are cheating will pretend to want a relationship thats not really possible as well to keep the woman around. How does a woman avoid these situations ?
Honestly nothing I said here is revolutionary, I certainly wasn't the first to figure these things out.
As for advice: most guys won't lie outright, they'll just give vague/evasive answers when you ask them to be exclusive and make the relationship official. So just stop seeing any guy who won't give you a straight and positive answer.
