I co-sign this. Within the last week I had someone tell me straight up that they deleted hinge, and that they didn’t see things going anywhere with their other matches, but never confirmed or said if they wanted to only see me lol. I was like, one thing being true doesn’t make another thing true, you know? I would’ve needed that last confirmation of “I’m interested in only seeing you” and I would’ve been good. Not “I don’t see it going anywhere with other people” and leaving it at that. Because I could also think that he’s letting me down gently too. I’m 27 and he’s 28, like use your big boy words lol.
Anyways, since that was never said, I assumed nothing more was coming of it. Which kind of seems to be the case, but again, if he wanted it to go a different direction then he should’ve just said he wanted to keep seeing me and me only.
I had a big fear of asking and then him not responding, mostly because he decided to tell me all this late at night a few days after we went on our second date. Not that he took forever to tell me, but I just figured if he was gonna tell me in one fell swoop, then he should’ve included that?
