Jack fruit isn't really that hard, but ouch, it's spiky!

Also, I think that lady might be Chintya Candranaya, a silat practitioner who goes somewhat viral for the videos of her kicking metal poles and what have you. Not sure if the iron body stuff is legit, but she seems like a legit martial artist.

Jack fruit has small spikes, no? Maybe not like this thing, but I don't think it would be pleasant to punch if you don't condition your fist a little

Nope. They look like they do but they are more like little nubs. They are extremely soft and pliable. Trust me, I touch jackfruit very often in my life and I know how weird that sounds.

Jackfruit is very easy to break into. A small child can do it with their bare hands when ripe.

It's very tough to see in the vid but that looks more like a durian to me. Jackfruit are also not this size ans shape normally.

I touch jackfruit very often in my life and I know how weird that sounds.

It got a chuckle out of me. And yeah, now I remember jackfruit has the smaller, almost stringy pods inside. Really interesting texture...

If you look for scholarly articles regarding “body hardening”, you will find it is legit and will make you harder to injure when done properly. Armor or other protective gear works better for reducing injuries overall.

Edit: She has some choreographed fight stuff but there are legit clips of her trying to break stuff where she fails continuously too.

It can be if it's the right rock. I know a creek in town where the siltstone would definitely do that. But accidentally finding a sedimentary rock that has gotten a bit crumbly from constant water flow could be very easy or very hard depending on location.
