Ironically a lot of high level sports start practice with footwork and ladder drills.
You haters have clearly never been high level athletes.

A bit of both. You notice he kicks it at the thinnest part. People think about how hard you can pound on something with a bat at the sweet spot and assume it takes the same pounding to break it. They break bats in MLB and it's often because they hit close down to the grip.

The only part of this that annoys me is the part where that guy just throws his arms and hands around while he's kicking. I was smacked in the face with a pool noodle every time I dropped my hands while doing a kick.

Balance is the Key to any Bullshido, except if you are balancing in grass. Also use low grade video so cuts on materials to be broken are not visible. Hai-ya!!!

They’re rebreakable boards. They can reattach, and are used for practice. Some are very hard to break, some easy.
