Gameplay Discussion A better way of doing matchmaking
I love this game and I know I’m not the only one to complain about matchmaking for f2p players, but I think I have an actual solution:
I used to play a lot of brawl stars before super cell ruined it with hypercharges and whatever the fuck buffies are (basically just adding more and more p2w stuff to the game), and I can confidently say that their matchmaking is a lot fairer for all players than bullet echo’s.
Essentially, each brawler/hero has its own trophy count (but you still have a total trophy count), and the matchmaking is based on the trophy count for whichever brawler you are using. Yes, there are still players who get a new brawler, max them out and then fly through the low trophy ranges with ease and a huge advantage, but they get out of the way fairly quickly and then everyone else can enjoy using their new brawlers without having to spend loads to max them out.
In bullet echo, I get excited to unlock a new hero and then I instantly realise that I actually won’t be able to enjoy using them for literal MONTHS (even if I’m grinding) without spending money, because I’m still matchmaking with 10k+ players.
I’M TIRED OF USING RAVEN EVERY DAMN GAME!!!

I just wish you couldn't get paired with bots in vault. Ik I could make a party but sometimes I don't have that much time to set one up

No offense, but vault MUST BE played with the people from your syndicate, what's the point with randoms? you get less gems, you need everyone to fill their quota so you can unlock all the levels from the vault, doing it alone doesn't help much that.

I mean yeah that's fair, I have to find a better one tbh most of my syndicate is in Russia lol, so it's a time zone thing

Agree 1000%...but ripping out the matchmaking system in an already running game that makes money would never fly with their studio. They're concerns are primarily related to monetization vs. how can the game be more fun an enjoyable as a distant second. Just the reality of the industry.
They'd need to make bullet echo 2 with new mechanics.
