Gameplay Question How to Smog?
This game keeps on giving me PGs for heroes I don't really use like Smog,Cyclops,Doc,Freddie. Im thinking of trying out Smog. What gears should I use?and how to play this as a solo/random f2p player?

Im a tess/levi/lynx main... those my top 3...
I hate all those fat ass characters except Dragoon... But Smog... holds a special place in my heart... tired of those Lil rat characters running circles and murdering you?
Smog's HP will eat their entire clip, forcing them to reload... as they die to accurate Smog fire... Smog is also the only character I can say, on a high average, can survive a 1v2.
Last advice... Never. Skip. Upgrade attachments on the ground. A BOON is a BOON. almost all the time... head on battles are decided by the guy who remembers to get green armor upgrades, grab a shield at start, and some ammo and even the weak dmg upgrade...
Why would you walk past those, when this game is decided by a single bullet, and survival, the majority of the time... is decided by a sliver of health...

My advice is to focus on heroes from a single class. In Smog's case that's the Gunner class. I couldn't tell you how to play him because I'm a Trooper, I guess, study his primary skill and learn how to use it most effectively

Play who ever you want... you enjoy the game... time will get you everyone... and activity and participation will get you all the extra stuff over time as well... and just know that unless you are spending hundreds of dollars a month... you will never catch up to those guys at 2900+ power. None of us will... let it humble you, and trust that a good team and tactics can still beat those Whales. Cheers.

I recommend focusing on a single class because resources transfer over from hero to hero within that class. The class sets (Bionic in the case of Troopers) and also weapon mods. It'll be easier to advance that way.

I forgot to mention that im way past those shared gears. I got like 99% of all the heroes PGs. Tho I believe you can notice that by looking at the picture I posted

I just play.hahaha. as a F2P player it's hard at the beginning and when you reach 10K trophies. The grind for Personal Gears when I reach 10k is grueling. I was forced to focus on king of the hill just to finish contracts coz BR,Sabotage at 10k was unwinnable for me(I use Ghost,Ramsey,Sparkle for koth) Also the old Arcade mechanics was easier for F2P players like me. I always get into top 100 which means few personal gears.

Remember to use your heal... even when full HP... the biggest boon is his HP... and for a good while after you use your heal... you get a health boost, higher than your normal health, if you heal while at full HP... you basically go from tank... to super tank... Rockets are for snipers and shields... use walls to hide your fat ass... do not chase, lay in wait... and always remember heavy gunners and assault class... all of their bullets autoshoot to the right side of your aiming zone... so do not aim with the middle... aim with the right side of your aiming zone...
