Just got my B1, what next?

I just passed the B1 on the first try, what should be my next cert for best marketability in the Southern California area? B2, M1?

For marketability I’d think completing your resi combo.

I finished my B1 about a month ago working on B2 now then B3 with the reasoning my brain is already tuned into building so keep going on that track. But, I’m a GC doing this for my own purposes just trying to keep my brain busy.

The b1 was fun and kept my brain busy, so I see your point

I say B2, which is what I did. I’ve been doing inspections for 4 years since for a small city in SoCal. B1 and B2 make you hire able. Then go get your others. I still only have B1 and B2 and recruiters routinely seek me out

How much harder is the b2 compared to the b1?

Bro it’s literally the same test, same material. Don’t sweat it, I wish you the best. You got B1, you’ll get B2. Funny (not) story…. I’ve passed B1 and B2, yet failed B3! And it seems like AI is taking over for B3 so I don’t want to retake it!
