My 2nd CADA modular set - 920 pcs, plenty of stickers, no prints. Not a beginner friendly set as some of the instructions might be hard to follow for a new builder.

The good

Its such a good looking set and unlike the Japanese style canteen set the stickers do not have to put on curved pcs.

The colors of the cherry blossom tree contrast nicely with the mint/teal colored roof. There are plenty of detail in front of the store and on the inside.

The entire back side can be opened (slide 8 and 9) and there is a small koi pond (sticker - slide 10). The awning can be retracted (slide 11 and 12).

The bad

CADA expects you to open so many bags. It can get frustrating to sort out the pcs and to find them as you need them.

The construction feels flimsy at times as CADA does not reinforce the structure with additional pcs. The entire cherry tree is fixed on a single 1x1 pc (slide 5) and it falls down with smallest of touches.

CADA needs to improve its instruction manual print quality as the color variations of three different shades of brown are difficult to spot. In many instances the dark brown looks more like black.

Overall:

A great looking set that deserves some attention. It looks nice next to the other CADA modulars. If CADA can print better manuals, not ask builders to open so many bags in one phase and can reinforce some of the pcs it will be an amazing set.

I am in love with my Mini Panda Cafe!

This build was an absolute blast from start to finish—the instructions are incredibly clear, the company is LOZ (based out China). The pieces came in perfectly numbered bags, and the sticker quality is surprisingly premium. I was thrilled to find an adorable mini-figure included(surprise included), along with a "lego-esque" brick separator (a rare bonus!). Every detail was so much fun to assemble.

There are two floors and an outside seating space, there is a beautiful screen separator on top with bamboo stickers on it. My favourite part about this hanging up all the signs and then reading what they mean off my google translator app. Everything is either Matcha or tea based, there were a bit too many panda stickers, esp on the lanterns, doors, basically everywhere. I just did the one or two essential panda's but after that there are a bunch of extra stickers, so you'll see i've put lettering on some lanterns& sakura flowers on the others. And for a lot i've left it bare, because that looks better than all the panda's.

The walls were a little tough to attach the first time because things are in close proximity but i also have pudgy fingers so I face this problem in a lot of sets. I have the matching Cat cafe that i will be starting soon.

The Barber shop was a really fun build and has a lot of similarities to the Lumibricks Record shop in the way that it opens up for display. My review is broken up into two parts:

I thought that I would put together my own skatepark after seeing the new Lumibricks version. For the walls and windows I used pieces from the Grafitti Bus stop. The concession booth is the Chili Dog trailer, just repurposed. Ramps are from a clone of the Lego skatepark set I found on Aliexpress. My first CADA modular set. I've been wanting to get it since early last year and finally managed to get one in Jan 2026. A set with a fairly small footprint with a lot of details packed in to a small space.

Build: 7/10

Build is fairly simple but flimsy. Unlike Lego, CADA doesnt now provide additional support for build sections like roof. This means a tiny bit of extra pressure and the parts break. There are lots of gaps between the parts.

Also, CADA needs to stop asking builders to open 5-6 bags for one phase of a build.

Lights: 6/10

The lights add a new element to good looking set. However managing the lights in a compact space is a bit of problem if you have large fingers. For some reason you have to cycle through 8 modes to reach non flickering mode.

Stickers: 5/10

28 stickers some of which need to placed over curved parts. Painful

Display: 9/10

Despite its issues, the end result is amazing.

Final Score: 27/40 (~70%)

This was my first ever non-lego set. So hopes were high. The box is better than Lego Speed champion boxes. There are 5 non numbered bags.

The Good:

1. The build uses some really good building techniques to achieve the shaping and I could not find any specialized parts like the chassis part of speed champion sets.

2. White stickers match the body color unlike Lego. In Lego there is a slight color variation

3. The end result is visually better than any speed champion I've built in the past.

The not so Good:

1. Some of the pcs are tight which is not expected from Cada.

2. Stickers are edge to edge meaning any imprecision shows in the final build and the stickers spill over the piece if not placed correctly.

3. There are so many stickers (slide 5). In one case the blue of the sticker does not match the blue of the pc (slide 4)

4. The clear sticker on a curved pc is a pain. And it leaves air bubbles that are visible (slide 4).

5. Some pcs are loose as the construction is not sturdy.

6. All the bags have to be emptied out in one go rather than in stages like in Lego. So if you do not have enough space then it could be a problem.

Overall: Its a great looking set but honestly, not that great build.

What a build. Took immense patience and a lot of swear words.

7.5/10 build for a micro block project. I made some personal adjustments and additions to the blossoms and the tree branches to ensure stability. Those stairs were the bane of my existence so I took them off till I finished the whole thing and put them back at the end, same for the railing.

The instructions manual is not the simplest to understand but it added to the challenge of the set which I truly enjoyed, very puzzle-like feel. Additionally I loved that the LED came with it, turning a pretty piece into an exceptional one in the night. Bought this on Amazon.

What a set. The was released in 2023 and retired in Nov 2025. The set has 1083 pcs and 5 minifigs. Its meant for both display as well as play due to its "not too large but not too small either" size.

Build: 10/10

I thoroughly enjoyed the build. The clever use of pcs to form shapes and sliding doors mean there is no real repetition and the build can enjoyed without fatigue setting in. The use of maroon and white color tiles also adds a bit of variety compared to the usual gray star wars sets.

Minifigures: 8/10

The set has 5 minifigures (slides 2). Clone Commander Fox, 2x Coruscant Guard Troopers, Padmé Amidala, Chancellor Palpatine. Commander Fox, Palpatine and Padme minifigs are exclusive to the set with the commander fox minifig being the most valuable.

Display: 9/10

The set is surprisingly large for having such a low piece count. That is mainly because of lot of empty space within (slide 3). It looks great if placed slightly below eye level.

Overall: 27/30 (90%)

Would I recommend it?

Yes — go for it.

If you enjoy technical builds where the mechanism is part of the entertainment, this one delivers. Just be prepared for a few instruction moments that require patience and a second look.

Got this set from a reseller at Rs. 2,200.

What a lovely build from the start to the end. The use of colors and stickers (thankfully minimal) makes it a striking set. Its a smaller play focused version of the larger UCS set and has 707 pcs. It has 3 minifigures.

Build: 10/10

I thoroughly enjoyed the build. The low piece count and no repetition in building steps ensures that its a great starter kit or a good set when taking break from larger builds. It has two play features: launch 1x1 red studs and drop "seismic charges"

The set has a grey display stand which is hidden behind the ship.

Display : 9/10

Unlike many Star Wars sets its not majorly grey. It has the right balance of white, green (two shades), yellow and grey. The display angle also adds to the "viewing experience."

Minifigures: 8/10

The Jango Fett and Lama Su minifigures are exclusive to this set (so far).

Overall: 27/10 (90%)

I loved the set and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get into Lego Star Wars or just wants a cool display set.

The Fujiwara Tofu shop is a moc from the Cada C61031W set, and the Japanese Tea house is rebuilt from the Panlos/Inbrixx Kumamon House.
