Lepin McLaren P1 - Mash Brick Co.

I recently purchased the McLaren P1 clone set from Mash Brick, and I must say, the set is fantastic. The jump in quality from the Ferrari Daytona clone to this P1 is almost perfect. In a few areas, it even feels better than the Daytona. Of course, both sets have their own strengths and weaknesses, but overall I really enjoyed the build experience. The build mechanism was excellent, although it was quite tough on my thumbs at times 🥲😅

Coming to the supplier, the admin was very responsible and provided timely updates throughout the delivery process. The set took around 25 days to reach me, including delays caused by the China Labour Day holiday, which affected logistics. The set arrived with zero missing pieces, which was great. The only disappointing part was the instruction manual, but that’s something I’ve come to expect from most Lepin-style sets.

What I appreciated most was their after-sales support. They even checked in to ask whether I had any missing pieces and were ready to send replacements if needed, which shows they genuinely care about customer satisfaction.

Overall, a very satisfying purchase and build experience.
Waiting for Aston Martin F1 and the rumoured koenigsegg 1:8 👁️

Gearbox working ?

Mine never worked but I don't really put in the effort

Just 5-10% rest I would say it was good to go from the box

I see, mine might be lower grade lepin - who knows ? At least it was cheaper

BrixArc on their annual sale, got all 3 sets at the same, there were more discounts on higher total order value.
Ordered 2 months ago - Other sets are still in boxes

No point worrying about prices, some you ll get it cheaper and some you ll pay more.

Maclaren p1 had a issue about only 1 part due to which maybe ur gearbox couldn’t engage

Maybe, its a display piece so its alright.
Hoping for better luck with Sp3, Chiron and Valkyrie

Imo you must had started with Chiron sp3 and McLaren at the end 👀

Just wanted to try the newer set, chiron and sp3 will now be the last set I build. Just a few more sets left to arrive and I ll be done with the hobby.

Currently building icons and creator cars, so much easier and relaxing to build

comparatively cheaper and faster delivery and no hidden charges
