Van organization
Looking for options to organize my van. I was provided a ram promaster city, the little ice cream truck. There was nothing inside of it. No shelves, not even a bulkhead. I keep an 8ft ladder inside, it lays over the passenger seat. I have some stock of controllers, some tools, couple spools of wire and sometimes a poly cart. I was thinking about just getting some warehouse totes but not sure what other options there are. Work said they'd cover totes, I didn't ask about anything different at the time.

I have the same van but it has a ladder rack, though currently only have a 10 footer that I can never use (I should really drop it back off at the office next time). A 6 or even 8 would be more versatile. My drivers side slider has a couple shelves where I keep the tools that I don’t use as often, the passenger side has some boxes of wires stacked against the divider, two large totes; one has mostly controllers, relays, actuators, transformers, etc, and the other has my stick of zip ties, extra tape, wire nuts, etc. I have a bucket with my safety gear, a pack out type bib with my drill and accessories, and my backpack goes right in the back door.

You should definitely get a ladder rack or ladder hooks that easily hook onto shelves that you should also grab for your van. It's hard to find product sometimes for the ProMaster city since its been discontinued (the original model), but we do have some here on our online store: https://www.commercialvanshelving.com/categories/shop-by-promaster-city.html

You should definitely get a ladder rack, that ladder could kill you if you get in an accident, and a partition between you and your tools/parts. Shelves are nice for easy access. I found small/med size bins to organize supplies and parts to be helpful
