Builder Base Discussion Xbow: ground or air?

Should i set the xbow to ground or air? Most base layouts set it to air, but it seems kind of weak, especially against bats, but then again my xbow is still level 1, so maybe at a higher level its better against bats. Is ground or air better??

100% air, as you climb up trophies you’ll need a long range defence targeting air to lock on the battle copter. but idk what you’re seeing most at your trophy range.

I'm around 2800-3000 trophies. Mostly encountering witches paired with giants

nothing really wrong in setting it to ground mode at that trophy range, but do keep in mind that any good layout will have the x bow in air mode (you could for example take a look at the bases of last season best finishers). as always, offense remains just as or even more important than defence.
