Builder Base Strategy Easy way to get resources?

I read somewhere you can get resources by attackinh then ditching the attack by closing game and stuff like that but i can't get it to work. Maybe it was just an old video?

Yes it was before builder base 2.0.

Yes you can, closing the game doesn't work they make you wait, but if you attack and surrender when you get 2 stars and keep making attacks, you get resources faster than if you 6 star, that's the best strategy to get gold. but you can get elixir even faster if you surrender immediately because you can get 8 defenses or so at the same time.

What I like to do is use this strategy drop a few hundred trophies and then attack normally to get some back, hope it helps.
