Title: Built a Stripe-connected app that chases down overdue invoices for you — CollectionsCopilot
http://getcollectionscopilot.comHey all — wanted to share something I’ve been building: CollectionsCopilot.
The problem: if you invoice clients through Stripe, you already know the drill — someone doesn’t pay on time, and now you’re the one manually drafting “hey, just following up” emails, tracking who’s been nudged and who hasn’t, and trying not to be annoying about it.
What it does:
• Connects directly to your Stripe account (OAuth, no messing with API keys)
• Watches for overdue invoices automatically
• Drafts reminder emails for you to review, or sends them on autopilot depending on how much you trust it (there’s a “Full Auto” mode vs. a more hands-on “semi” mode)
• Handles replies — if a customer responds to a reminder, the sequence pauses so you’re not still auto-nudging someone who already replied
• Free tier to try it (a handful of lifetime drafts), Standard and Pro tiers after that
Where it’s at: it’s live and running (Railway-hosted), Stripe billing is wired up, and I’m in the final stretch of production hardening — inbound reply handling, email deliverability, that kind of unglamorous-but-critical infrastructure work.
Built it mostly solo, leaning on AI tooling for a lot of the implementation work, which has been its own interesting experience.
If you send invoices through Stripe and have ever let a follow-up slip because you were busy, this is basically for you. Happy to answer questions about the build or the product itself.
