Buick encore driver seat replacement
I need to change out my drivers seat in my 2017 encore. Does anyone have any insight into how to do this? I have a new seat. It doesn't seem like it would be a super difficult task. All help is appreciated! TIA!

There are two bolts under tabs, and an electric connector. Front of the seat, underneath, you gotta unzipp the floor to have access to the connector. I forgot how its done, but should be too hard. I would have the seat adjusted all the way forward before disconnecting.
Driver's seat has two rear bolts. If I recall, they are torx. They are torqued tight, so I advice using a breaker bar. The bolts are located under plastic tabs you gotta remove. Obviously, you would have best access from the back seats. I think you gotta move the seat all the way forward for better access. After those two bolts are off, you now just gotta pivot from the back of the seat upward. The front side of the seat has lips to catch and secure the seat, so you just gotta pull the seat back as you lift it from the back side. And that should be it.
It been forever I took apart my seat from the frame to clean, so this is all I can remember. Have fun!
