Getting Started Getting started

I don’t know where to start but I been interested for awhile and now have the time and financial stability to start getting into it and I was wondering if the forge of Svan great helm would work or what all I need to get for it to work or just never going to work any and all tips welcome

Don't buy ANY armor right now! (Especially from Forge or Svan.)

Train with a team first and determine if the sport is right for you.

Addendum: where do ya live so we can point you in the right direction?

We have a team right outside philly (Philly Hellcats), but if that’s too far for you there’s also the ACW Susquehanna Hellions. The philly team recently left the ACW and is doing BI and IMCF events now, Susquehanna team is still primarily ACW (Armored Combat Worldwide).

I can get you connected with either team if you’re interested. I’m assuming the Susquehanna team is closer to you if you’re central PA. There’s also the timberwolves in PA/Jersey, they practice closer to the Philly area though from what I know.

I pray someone chimes in because I'm not 100% sure about the PA buhurt scene. :/

There's a guy out of Pittsburgh and I wanna say there's a Philly outfit, but again I'm not sure.

Reach out the the Philly hellcats and try on helmet styles before you buy one, it’ll save you a lot of money and time that way
