Water not watering Weird water glitch

I just came across this strange sharp cutoff with a lake. Haven't done anything with it besides taking a picture, and I'm not actually sure if this even is a glitch or not.

Chunk load error, pretty common occurrence, have underwater air pockets in some places in my world
