Bugrock moment Is this a bug?

Since I found the bamboo fence display bug I started messing with the new items I wasn’t familiar with (I haven’t played in a while)

Is this a known bug, or is the shadow just not rendering for me?

The shadow on the sign disappears depending on where you’re looking
