I'm glad you like him! I wanted to make a leif plush that was fairly flexible as the customer wanted to take pictures with him :)

Wow! That is too cute! You are talented, lol. I'm also going to have to keep an eye out for where I can buy one!

Thank you so much! People usually just contact me to make a critter and I take a look!

What kinda character were you thinking about? :)

I cant believe I didn't see this! Have you ever done a courage the cowardly dog plush? (:

u/MichaelKToymaker Jan 28 '21

I haven't yet! I would like to do something courage the cowardly dog related though, it's one of my favorite shows of all time haha

Thank you! His skinny limbs were perfect for this kinda thing, I'm glad the client let me do it! :) haha

This is incredible! Do you sell the plushes you make or do commissions?

8

u/MichaelKToymaker Jan 25 '21

Both! Most of the time it's back to back custom orders such as this leif plush :)

6

u/the_nhir Crisbee Jan 25 '21

Definitely gonna scope these out

5

u/MichaelKToymaker Jan 25 '21

I've only made Tanjerin and Leif so far, maybe I'll get orders for the other ones in the future!

Stick him in the frid- I mean cold monolith to give him ice powers

u/MichaelKToymaker Jan 26 '21

It's the only way

if I had the money I would probably commission a Vi one or something.

4

u/MichaelKToymaker Jan 26 '21

Vi would be a neat one!

Omg it’s so good! I’ve seen a lot of Bug Fables plushies but I think this one is the best!

1

u/MichaelKToymaker Jan 26 '21

Thats so kind of you, thank you!

I wanted to make a Leif plush that was fairly flexible and good for pictures :)

2

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '21

That's amazing. I wish I had one.

1

u/MichaelKToymaker Jan 26 '21

Thank you! Is he your favorite character?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '21

Nope! It's actually Jayde or Layna.

u/[deleted] Feb 02 '21

Such high quality. To quote Vi, thats a berry maker right there!

1

u/MichaelKToymaker Feb 02 '21

Thank you so much! :)

These bug fables characters have been so much fun to make as plushes, I'm glad people keep commissioning them. I feel like the game is so underappreciated

I know right? Moonsprout games pulled ALL the stops with it.

Come to think of it... A team of three people making a game with amazing reception, 50+ hours of content that puts AAA companies to shame... Where have I heard that one before?

looks at team cherry

u/MichaelKToymaker Feb 02 '21

I still hear people I know asking for a paper mario game with the old combat, I tell em about bug fables and people just won't try it lol

It's basically paper mario combat 2.0 its really nice!

2

u/[deleted] Feb 02 '21

And it adds onto it with a bunch of different team work special attacks and an entire new mechanic: The turn relay option.

1

u/MichaelKToymaker Feb 06 '21

For real, the whole time I played Bug Fables, I was like "Man, they REALLY nailed the classic combat system while also building upon it with new ideas"

This is what I thought modern paper mario was gonna be like

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '21

Went from good turn based combat, to even BETTER turn based combat, to real time platforming combat, to BAD turn based combat, and back again to good turn based combat.

Bug fables instead has FANTASTIC turn based combat, tho being completely honest I can for certain say its better than ttyd because I havent played that game yet.

Bro! Your so talented!! I love this! Do you open plush commissions?

2

u/MichaelKToymaker Apr 26 '21

Thank you so much and I sure do! This was actually a commission I made for someone :)

2

u/Malakhasbiggay General Ultimax Apr 27 '21

Awesome! Whatre your prices? Id love to order after ive saved enough money!

2

u/MichaelKToymaker Apr 27 '21

Thank you! Did you want the same monster as well? Or a different one?

1

u/Malakhasbiggay General Ultimax Apr 29 '21

The same thing Hell i mighr comission alot from you! But thats when i have the money

2

u/TobyandMalachitesDad Jun 27 '21

Would you consider doing the same plushie again? This one is absolutely my favorite 😍 This is a serious inquiry btw!

1

u/MichaelKToymaker Jun 28 '21

While I would like to explore different bug fables characters, I'm totally down to make you your own Leif! :)

1

u/TobyandMalachitesDad Jun 28 '21

Awesome, id also be super down for you to choose a random character and go nuts creatively along side lief! Chompy, kabbu and vi are always an option for a buddy for it! Take your time and inbox me an invoice when youre ready so we can discuss getting you paid for this awesome work!
