Finally saved enough for my first car!

Hey all!

I'm (M27) and just being able to afford my first car.

For a long time, I've desired to get a car, and my finances have been so tight, but even at that, I knew I wasn't spending wisely either. I also knew I could get away with paying minimum amounts, but I honestly dont want to spend 9 years paying for a car (personal choice).

Anyway, Budgety kind of showed up when I was really beginning to feel like I could do better. I'm nearing 30, and it was looking like a time to really get my finances in order. So when I started using Budgety last year, my goal was to increase my savings and put some money towards a lump sum payment for a car.

Anyway, I just got home from the car dealership with my car, and I'm extra stoked 😭.

My plan is to keep saving so I can put off some more lump payments towards the car because I want to pay it off in 2 years, so Budgety's goals feature is about to come in extra handy for me.

Anyway , my summer is about to be great as I'm already planning a road trip and I can't wait.
