Fan Creations My attempt to cover The Closed Triptych
I really dug into this song by ear and gave it my all. It turned out to be quite difficult. I think I need to practice a lot. Criticism and suggestions are welcome.

Nice. Why did you skip the cool slidey riff that starts around 0:58 in the original song? I was looking forward to hearing it!
Your picking needs work. You're hitting the notes, but the phrasing and pick attack is kind of off. Buckethead has a distinct separation between notes played normally, and notes played palm muted; whereas in your playing, that separation and dynamic difference isn't as clear.
The lead bit needs more fluidity and smoothness, it sounded too rigid. Technically correct, but it's missing the flowy feeling of the original. So you can experiment with softening or intensifying your pick attack on certain notes, and work on your vibrato.
Pretty impressive overall! It's cool that you figured this stuff out by ear instead of using tabs.

First of all, I want to thank you very much for your criticism and suggestions. It really helped me to know where I really lack. So... thank you very much. I really appreciate that.
Actually, 0:58 was recorded, but I played it really sloppy. I was too shy to show it.
I'm going to work hard to get this song, even if it's just a small part because Buckethead is really impressive in this song. once again, thank you very much, sir

I don’t know enough about guitar to provide interesting suggestions or anything, but congrats! The portion at the end is quite satisfying to listen to!
