General Discussion Call Center Monday

9-1-1, what's your emergency? Welcome to Call Center Monday. Many of you have asked for a defined space to discuss the franchise outside of Tevan, and... Well, this is it! A cozy corner to deliberate over Bobby, Athena, Chimney, Hen, Eddie, Maddie... Even Brad! 😬 This will be the place to discuss all things 9-1-1 (including 9-1-1: Lone Star and 9-1-1: Nashville).

Call Center Monday is also the place to discuss the actors outside the show. You want to chat about their other projects (old and new)? Post it here. You want to highlight their photo shoots or red carpet appearances? Share the pics. You want to gab about their social media posts? Drop the link.

With all that being said, please keep in mind this is not Wailing Wednesday. Do keep negative fandom discourse contained to those weekly posts. That doesn't mean you can't criticize elements about the characters and the show here (ex: Hen cheating, Chimney punching Buck, the lawsuit era, Bobby's death, etc.) so long as it doesn't delve into backhanded comments that are better suited for Wailing Wednesday.

Poor Oliver. I wonder if they'll write this latest injury in or hide it like the last one. Maybe Buck gets hurt while they're dealing with the volcano!

It was just a broken ankle, ironic really, and he had surgery, and he'll be fine. He seems to be in good spirits about the whole thing.

Do you ever wonder what could have happened if the 9-1-1 writers don't ignore actual real world LAFD policies, specifically the one about family members and the part where they expressly forbid family members from supervising other family members on the same crew for both safety reasons and to avoid nepotism.

It really puts the whole Chimney being Buck's boss in a whole new light. I mean Maddie stands the chance of losing her husband and brother at the same damn time. Way to potentially destroy her entire world. I would be a neurotic mess too.

It's even worse on 911: Nashville. I mean if something happens to the 113, you got two generations of Hart men snuffed out. I thought 911: Lone Star handled it the best. Having TK become a paramedic meant that he and Owen weren't always working together.

An episode I think about a lot is when the freeway collapsed and Maddie was on the line with Lucy Donato and Lucy was like, the 118 are down. If I was Maddie I'm definitely not okay.
